At Rajsamand Jan Vikas Sansthan (RJVS), we work to bridge the gap between government entitlements and the marginalized communities who need them the most — especially women, adolescent girls, single women, and vulnerable families in rural Rajasthan.
Our efforts ensure that information, application processes, and the actual benefits of welfare schemes are made accessible, understandable, and actionable for those typically left out.
To date, RJVS has helped over 1,00,000+ families access various government schemes — including pensions, MGNREGA, Jan Aadhaar, Palanhar Yojana, widow assistance, Ujjwala gas scheme, ration cards, and housing support.
"A welfare scheme succeeds only when it reaches the last person — easily and equitably."
e-Mitra Help Desks:RJVS operates e-Mitra help centers to assist rural citizens in applying for essential documents and welfare schemes. These centers provide services such as registration for pensions, income and caste certificates, and scheme application submissions — ensuring timely access to entitlements without middlemen or digital barriers.
Digital Literacy & Awareness Camps: To empower citizens digitally, RJVS organizes camps in remote villages, training people on how to apply for schemes using online platforms. In 2024–25, over 500+ individuals were trained in digital processes, and many successfully availed benefits with RJVS's support.
Special Focus on Single Women: Recognizing the vulnerability of widowed, abandoned, or divorced women, RJVS gives priority support to single women for accessing pensions, ration entitlements, verification renewals, and identity documentation. These women are supported not just as beneficiaries, but as leaders in demanding their rightful place in governance.
RJVS believes that expanding access to government schemes is a critical step toward social justice and inclusion. When the most marginalized gain access to state support, equity becomes reality — not just policy.
