The Executive Committee of Rajsamand Jan Vikas Sansthan is composed of women who have themselves experienced deep hardship, marginalization, and exploitation. Rather than accepting these challenges as fate, they chose to come together and lay the foundation of an organization that today stands as a symbol of hope and transformation for thousands of rural women. These members have not only transformed their own lives, they have also become torch bearers and are playing an inspiring role in promoting justice, equality, and women’s empowerment within their communities. Today, they are powerful examples of leadership, decision-making, and grassroots changes—continuously striving to uplift and empower other women around them.
Our Director has previously served, and continues to serve, as the Chairperson and Member of several district-level POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace ) Committees - including the one that has been formed at district level for Government Administration . She plays an active role in both policy formulation and oversight to uphold the safety and dignity of women in the workplace.
RJVS is an active member of government and non-government committees, served on the core committee of “Girls Not Brides” (GNB) and other networks, and regularly participates in women / girl centered Advocacy initiatives at national and international conferences, where it represents and advocates for the voices and needs of grassroots communities.
