**Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler** **Shift:** MONDAY -FRIDAY 6am - 4:30pm MONDAY -FRIDAY 6am - 4pm **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator and Material Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the manufacturing process by operating machinery, handling materials, and ensuring quality in a dynamic and physically demanding environment. **Responsibilities** + Operate manual machines to cut landscape blocking. + Load and unload products into the machine. + Perform quality checks on items. + Operate forklifts as needed to move pallets. + Load customer vehicles and move products around the yard. + Physically lift and stack blocks, with the ability to lift 50-100 lbs. **Essential Skills** + General production and material handling experience. + Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual labor. + Ability to work in a non-climate controlled, dusty environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with forklifts is advantageous but not required. + Previous masonry or block experience is preferred. + Familiarity with hand tools and concrete. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values its employees by offering benefits such as a 401k match after six months, health insurance, and paid life insurance after a 60-day probationary period. Be prepared to work in various weather conditions.sHIFT **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, MD. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
