About the Opportunity

Invoke Staffing is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for a growing commercial general contractor in the Wilmington market. This firm delivers high-quality commercial projects ranging from $250K tenant improvements to $3–4M ground-up and design-build work. They are expanding their team and looking for a hands-on superintendent who can confidently run mid-sized commercial projects from start to finish.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day field operations for commercial construction projects, including ground-up builds, renovations, and design-build assignments.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to ensure quality, schedule, and safety goals are met.
  • Conduct site inspections, coordinate daily activities, maintain detailed daily logs, and proactively resolve field issues.
  • Work closely with project management on scheduling, planning, and execution.
  • Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Maintain project documentation including RFIs, change orders, and site reports.
  • Build strong relationships with field teams, inspectors, owners, and stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • 7–10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
  • Proven ability to manage commercial projects in the $250K–$4M range.
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods for commercial buildings, interior fit-outs, and ground-up construction.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, schedules, and specifications.
  • Tech-savvy with field reporting tools or willing to learn the company’s systems.
  • Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality control.
