Job Title: CAE Engineer

Detailed Job Description:

• Key Responsibilities:
• Typical Tasks

1. Meshing – Sheet metal, Resin and solid parts
2. Model build coordination and model assembly
3. Pre-processing
4. Adding or replacing parts in LS-dyna.
5. Connecting parts, updating spotwelds adding or updating contacts
6. Adding or updating data outputs, such as cross sections, accelerometers
7. Following Toyota procedures for moving or positioning Toyota Dummy models and seats.
8. Submitting simulations with Toyota internal process and software
9. Post-processing / analyzing CAE results.
10. Creating reports of work
11. Communicating results to design engineers and team.
12. Negotiating countermeasures with TMNA R&D and TMC design engineers.

1. TMNA will provide CAE equipment, software and licenses
2. Workstation
3. Software and licenses
4. HPC and LS-dyna
5. Task guidance, scheduling

• Qualifications of CAE engineering support team members.
• Minimum of 2 years of Crash Safety CAE experience with LS-Dyna. Front or Side impact experience is ideal.
• Strong analysis capabilities
• Experience with Pre and Post processing tools. Ideally:

1. Oasys Primer
2. ANSA or Hypermesh
3. GNS-mbH Animator
4. Excel
