Visual Merchandising Manager – Edikted

Position Summary

The Visual Merchandising Manager is responsible for creating visually compelling, trend-driven in-store environments that inspire customers, elevate the brand, and drive sales. This role leads the planning, execution, and maintenance of all visual merchandising across store locations, ensuring consistent alignment with Edikted’s brand identity and seasonal directives. The Visual Merchandising Manager partners with store leadership and visual merchandisers to deliver high-impact product presentations, support new store openings, and maintain garment care standards. In addition, this role provides ongoing training and guidance to store teams, ensuring visual execution supports both creative vision and commercial results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visual Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies, mood boards, and trend curation that align with seasonal campaigns, product launches, and brand objectives.
  • Oversee window displays, floor sets, mannequin styling, and product placement to create engaging and commercially effective store presentations.
  • Ensure visual storytelling supports a seamless customer journey from window to sales floor.
  • Commercial Impact
  • Partner with store leadership and visual merchandisers to identify key commercial opportunities and adapt visual layouts to drive sell-through.
  • Use sales data and trend analysis to inform product placement decisions.
  • Ensure all visual elements support promotional and marketing campaigns.
  • New Store Openings & Renovations
  • Lead visual merchandising planning and execution for new store openings, ensuring brand-right presentation from day one.
  • Support visual integration during store renovations and remerchandising projects.
  • Garment Care & Presentation Standards
  • Oversee garment care standards through proper steaming, folding, and presentation.
  • Ensure product displays are fully stocked, clean, and aligned with company guidelines at all times.
  • Training & Development
  • Provide training to store teams on visual merchandising standards, styling techniques, and garment care practices.
  • Offer real-time coaching and feedback during floor set execution.
  • Identify and develop visual merchandising talent for future leadership roles.

  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Act as the liaison between design, buying, marketing, and store teams to ensure a consistent brand message across channels.
  • Communicate visual directives clearly to store teams, providing tools and resources for successful execution.
  • Compliance & Safety
  • Ensure all visual displays, signage, and marketing materials comply with local regulations.
  • Follow all safety procedures when installing or adjusting fixtures, signage, and window displays.

Suggested Qualifications

  • Experience – 3+ years in visual merchandising leadership, preferably in fashion or apparel retail.
  • Creative Skills – Strong styling, fashion trend knowledge, and visual storytelling abilities.
  • Commercial Awareness – Ability to balance creative vision with business goals.
  • Leadership Skills – Experience leading and developing visual teams across multiple locations.
  • Technical Skills – Proficiency in visual planning tools, floor set mapping, and merchandising software. Preferred experience with Google Suite, Canva and/or Adobe Suite.
  • Communication Skills – Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Physical Requirements – Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, climb ladders, and work with tools/equipment.
  • Availability – Willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Compensation for this role starts at $80,000.00
