Job Title: Vehicle Dynamics / ADAMS Simulation Engineer

Location: Novi, MI

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Dynamics and Simulation Engineer with expertise in MSC ADAMS/Car for full-vehicle modeling, load generation, and ride & handling analysis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Time/Frequency domain analysis , NVH load cascades , and correlation of simulation results with test data .

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate Time/Frequency loads and forces using high-fidelity full-vehicle ADAMS/Car models, including F-Tire and digitized road inputs .
• Perform NVH load cascade analyses using full-vehicle ADAMS/Car models with RLDA (Road Load Data Acquisition) measured spindle inputs.
• Develop and maintain system-level mechanism simulation models for various vehicle subsystems.
• Conduct Ride and Handling (R&H) analysis using MSC ADAMS/Car , interpret results, and provide actionable insights to the design team.
• Perform static and dynamic load generation in ADAMS/Car and ADAMS/View environments.
• Develop automation macros and scripts to enable fast, repeatable, and error-free simulation workflows.
• Collaborate with the design and test teams to ensure accurate and robust full-vehicle ADAMS/Car model creation.
• Correlate simulation results with physical vehicle or subsystem test data to improve model fidelity and accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering , Automotive Engineering , or related field.
• 3–8 years of hands-on experience with MSC ADAMS/Car and ADAMS/View .
• Strong knowledge of vehicle dynamics , multibody simulation (MBS) , and NVH load analysis .
• Experience with F-Tire modeling , digitized road data , and RLDA inputs .
• Proficiency in macro scripting (ADAMS commands, Python, or similar) for process automation.
• Understanding of ride & handling fundamentals , static/dynamic load paths , and system-level correlation .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automotive load development and virtual vehicle validation .
• Familiarity with Durability , NVH , and Test Correlation processes.
• Prior exposure to OEM vehicle dynamics or CAE simulation teams (e.g., GM, Ford, Stellantis, etc.).
