OTJ Engineering is seeking an experienced Heavy Highway/Civil Senior Estimator to join our clients Southwest Region estimating team in Wilmington, NC.
As a Senior Estimator, you will have the knowledge and experience to prepare portions of contract proposal estimates for all scopes of work on a typical highway project (structures including retaining walls and bridges, concrete paving, storm sewer, earthwork, etc.), including the interpretation and take-off of project plans and specifications to complete a full estimate of the work. You will have the ability to be responsible for all scopes of work for both bid-build and design-build projects for the region estimating team.
This role is working with an experienced estimating group focussed on NCDOT highways and related heavy civils works and DOT experience gained from a major general contractor is essential.

The role is office based in Wilmington, North Carolina and therefore you must be willing to work within daily commutable distance of the office. We are prepared to look out out of state candidates however you must be prepared to relocate to Wilmington, NC to take up the position.
Our client is open to paying a basic salary of up to US$140k + bonus and full benefits and they are looking to onboard in January or early February so interviews have begun now.
