What You’ll Do

As an SEO Manager (Authority + Technical) , you’ll serve as both a builder and protector of organic visibility. You’ll combine technical SEO expertise with off-page authority development to ensure clients’ sites are discoverable, crawlable, and competitive.

Key Responsibilities

Authority Building, Link Acquisition & Backlink Management

• Lead sophisticated link-building strategies, including digital PR, targeted outreach, content-led campaigns, and strategic partnerships to grow domain authority and trust.
• Develop and execute authority roadmaps tailored to client verticals, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities.
• Continuously monitor backlink profiles, using data to evaluate link quality, authority gaps, link velocity, and competitive backlink insights.
• Identify and manage toxic or high-risk backlinks, including remediation, outreach, link removal, and disavow processes.
• Report on authority gains, wins from digital PR, and the impact of link acquisition on rankings, visibility, and conversions.

Technical SEO

• Manage technical SEO efforts, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
• Audit and resolve technical SEO issues related to site speed, mobile usability, duplicate content, and canonicalization.
• Partner with development teams during migrations, redesigns, and new builds to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.
• Collaborate closely with Content + AEO peers to align technical and authority strategies with broader organic growth.

Reporting

• Track and report on both technical health and authority-building performance, connecting improvements to rankings, traffic, and conversions.

What You Bring

• 3–6 years of hands-on SEO experience with a strong focus on off-page authority and solid proficiency in technical optimization.
• Well-versed in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics) and SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Moz, SimilarWeb, Search Console, Bing Webmaster).
• Experience building and executing link acquisition and digital PR campaigns.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
• Ability to manage multiple client accounts, timelines, and deliverables.
• Excellent communication skills with confidence leading client conversations.
• A growth mindset—open to feedback, quick to adapt, and eager to push into new areas like generative search.
