Job Description

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Property Manager for our client, a well-established property management organization. This is an on-site position based in Southfield, Michigan.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, financial health, and resident satisfaction of the property. This role provides leadership to leasing and maintenance staff, ensures compliance with company policies and housing regulations, and drives occupancy and revenue goals. The Property Manager plays a central role in delivering exceptional service to residents while maintaining strong operational standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee property operations, including leasing, rent collection, and financial performance.
• Lead, train, and mentor on-site leasing and maintenance staff to achieve company standards.
• Conduct property inspections, manage vendor contracts, and ensure timely maintenance and repairs.
• Drive resident satisfaction through proactive communication, community events, and service excellence.
• Prepare budgets, financial reports, and ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations.
• Implement marketing and outreach strategies to maximize occupancy and rental income.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven success managing multifamily property operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to coach and mentor staff.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and property compliance standards.
• Proficiency with property management software (YARDI preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This exciting opportunity offers a starting annual salary in the $60,000 to $70,000 range, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off programs.
