Now Hiring: Phlebotomist I – South Richmond Hill, NY 11419 (Full-Time, Onsite)

Location: South Richmond Hill, NY 11419

Contract- 3+months

Schedule: Sun–Fri 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; Alternate Sat 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $17-$21/hr

Join one of the most respected names in diagnostics! We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist I to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our Patient Service Center in South Richmond Hill, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the face of the company to patients during visits for routine health or life-defining health decisions
  • Perform quality blood draws on patients of all ages – pediatrics through geriatrics
  • Handle forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established practices and procedures
  • Prepare specimens for lab testing ensuring accuracy and proper labeling
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment
  • Maintain required records and documentation timely and accurately
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to patient confidentiality
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months experience; 1+ years preferred in phlebotomy
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric draws
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Keyboard/data entry skills required
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods

Reliable transportation is a must. This position is covering an employee on FMLA.
