We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Pharmacist for one of our best clients in Doral, FL! This role is essential in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of pharmaceuticals, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional customer care.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a licensed pharmacist in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with State Board of Pharmacy standards and all applicable laws governing pharmaceutical sales and distribution.
• Maintain procedures for quality assurance, inventory control, and proper disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and required ingredients.
• Provide customers with information regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Consult with prescribers to clarify prescription details when necessary.
• Manage stock and supplies in the absence of the Lead Pharmacist or manager.
• Prepare, fill, and compound prescriptions as authorized.
• Offer counseling on the use of medical devices such as blood pressure and diabetes monitors.
• Implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the pharmacy.
• Ensure proper mixing, packaging, labeling, and disposal of pharmaceuticals in compliance with policy and legal requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
• Valid Registered Pharmacist license.

Preferred

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Experience with pharmacy adjudication platforms.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred!
