JOB REQUIREMENTS: Here at Community Horizons, we are searching for a
Childcare provider to help a 17-year-old boy with special needs. The childcare provider in this role will be helping this young boy Monday-Friday, along with some weekends, with any of his essential daily living skills and establishing routines that promote independence and safety. Please note that there is a dog in the home. Job Tasks: - Communication with parents - Assist with getting up on time - Provider verbal prompts to complete personal care tasks - Provide verbal prompts to complete daily morning chores. - Assist with medications - Transportation to school is appreciated but not required - Assist with meal preparation Shifts Available: - Monday-Friday 6:00 AM 9:00 AM (Back-Up Position) - Saturday and Sunday ( Flexable Hours) Pay: - \$17.98 - Mileage reimbursement. .70 cents a mile Requirements: - Able to pass a Wisconsin background check - Valid driver\'s license along with reliable vehicle - Kind and Friendly - Professionalism - Experience with anxiety - Has a good sense of humor - Reliable - Experience working with children - Able to take directions - Experience working with children or adults with behavioral struggles Who is Community Horizons?
