**Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description** The role of a Material Handler involves managing cycle counts, entering data, operating forklifts, and using saw operators in a warehouse and production environment. Safety is the top priority in all activities. **Responsibilities** + Conduct cycle counts and ensure accurate data entry. + Operate forklifts and saws efficiently and safely. + Utilize computer systems for inventory management. + Maintain a clean and organized workspace. + Ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times. **Essential Skills** + Proficient in forklift operation. + Background in warehouse operations. + Strong computer knowledge and math skills, including ruler use. + Experience in material handling and inventory control. + Ability to perform cycle counting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED required. + Minimum of 1+ years experience in a warehouse or production setting, preferably in a metals or manufacturing facility. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. + Experience with sit down forklifts, pallet jacks, and order picking. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic work environment that values safety and efficiency. The facility hosts 150-160 full-time employees, providing a community-driven atmosphere. Dress code includes jeans, t-shirts, steel-toed shoes, and PPE provided by the employer. Shifts are available in three rotations: 1st shift from 6am-2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm, and 3rd shift from 10pm-6am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $20.20/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
