JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

Mammography Technologist II

MAMMOGRAPHY TECH II

Full-Time

Mammography Technologist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

• You will perform Mammo exams as per protocol on a variety of different body parts in an efficient manner.
• You will complete pre-exam screening, greet patients and assist in appropriate gowns, complete history forms, complete technologist exam sheets, stock rooms with required supplies, and check labs when necessary.
• You will verify and follow the doctor's orders in the patient's chart, initial patient chart when the exam is complete, start/remove IVs when necessary, and safely administer contrast media with a power injector.
• You will transport patients to and from ER and other Imaging areas when the assistant is unavailable, move patients on and off the exam table, organize and prioritize patient exams for the best workflow, and communicate effectively.

Full-Time

Mammography Technologist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One (1) year minimum experience as a Mammography Technologist is preferred.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Must be ARRT (M) - Mammography registered.
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: BLS certified.

Compensation: $31-48/hour
