**Description:** **International F\-35 Keep\-Sold Communications**
**Location: Fort Worth TX**
**What You Will Be Doing**
This individual will be responsible for strategic communications efforts for a variety of countries in the F\-35 international keep\-sold portfolio\. Reporting to the F\-35 International Communications Manager, this role will develop and implement proactive, strategic and integrated communications in partnership with F\-35 program managers, Business Development and Global Business Development & Strategy Communications\.
The successful candidate will be collaborative, accountable, a strong writer and a dot connector to reach global audiences with targeted communications\.
This position requires occasional international travel and availability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed\.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop integrated communications strategies and plans
- Contribute to F\-35 international keep\-sold messages
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the associated program managers, Business Development, Global Business Development & Strategy Communications, international customer public affairs officers and international PR agencies
- Manage relevant international media relations by building trusted relationships with key reporters whether through personal relationships or PR agencies, pitching stories and fielding queries
- Provide strategic direction for marketing and digital media assets for use on Lockheed Martin channels
- Support relevant trade shows
- Use metrics, data and feedback to continuously improve, adjust and drive decisions
- Execute special projects as required

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Experience building relationships and working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Experience leading and executing communications strategic plans and projects
- Experience working under deadlines and adapting to evolving circumstances, priorities and stakeholder feedback
- Experienced writing skills and experience with AP Style
- Communications planning and project management experience
**Desired Skills:**
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Public Relations or another related discipline
- Knowledge of the F\-35 program
- Creative instincts to support strategic decision\-making and problem\-solving
- Strong storytelling skills, experience landing narratives across multiple audiences including employees, customers and media outlets
- Prior experience with executives
- Self\-motivated, able to work well under deadline and adapt to evolving circumstances
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
