Forklift Driver

Full-Time | 1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Pay : $18-20/hr

About the Role:

Our manufacturing company is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Driver to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, solid forklift experience, and a commitment to maintaining smooth warehouse and production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to transport materials within the facility.
• Load and unload trucks, move product to production lines, and stage materials as needed.
• Maintain accurate inventory movement by scanning, labeling, and documenting materials.
• Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Support material handling, shipping/receiving, and general warehouse tasks.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment operation standards.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience required (stand-up and/or sit-down).
• Valid forklift certification preferred (company can certify if needed).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.
• Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and productivity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
