Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to join a growing law firm. This role is critical in managing the daily operations of the office and supporting attorneys and staff in delivering excellent client service. The EA will play a key role in overseeing workloads, improving organizational processes, and ensuring smooth business operations across legal, HR, and administrative functions.

This is a full-time, in-office position with standard business hours, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and delegate workloads among paralegals and support staff
  • Manage individual caseloads and assist attorneys with case preparation and coordination
  • Partner with leadership to implement new structures, processes, and best practices for greater efficiency
  • Support HR functions, including performance management and improvement planning
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys on both casework and broader business operations
  • Contribute to office-wide organizational improvements and support long-term growth initiatives

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or executive assistant within a law firm or professional services environment
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities, delegate effectively, and stay organized under pressure
  • Solid understanding of legal office operations; personal injury experience is helpful but not required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Self-starter who can work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment
