Job Description

C2's client, an online retailer and styling service using innovative algorithms and personal stylists to instill confidence and embrace individuality for subscribers, is searching for a Digital Copywriter for a full-time, contract position. As their Digital Copywriter, you'll craft content that nails the brand voice and tone, while delivering clear, data-driven messages that connect, compete, and convert.

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Full-time, contract (with a possibility for contract to hire)

Location: Onsite in Milwaukee, WI

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Benefits: All C2 talent working 30+ hours/week for 30 consecutive business days are eligible for medical, dental, optional vision, life insurance, PTO accrual, and 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match available for enrollment after 90 days

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Creative Director, Content Director, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment between creative vision and marketing objectives
  • Align with Design: Ensure that copy and design are well-integrated, maintaining visual and verbal harmony across all channels
  • Data-Driven Copywriting: Craft and optimize copy based on performance data and strategic feedback, with the goal of maximizing conversion rates across multiple platforms
  • Copy Performance Analysis: Continuously track and analyze how copy performs and refine messaging based on insights, customer feedback, and industry trends.
  • Content Versatility: Write for both upper and lower funnel strategies, making sure the content resonates with various audience segments while driving results
  • Creative Innovation: Pitch new approaches and contribute to the development of copy test plans, constantly seeking to improve copy performance through innovation
  • Proofreading & Editing: Focus on proofreading to ensure accuracy, adherence to brand guidelines, and maintaining cultural relevance
  • Trend Awareness: Stay current on fashion, social, cultural, and language trends is essential to ensure the copy is relevant and aligned with the brand's position in the market

Requirements:

  • A strong digital portfolio demonstrating relevant copy experience is essential
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience is required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a creative agency or related field, specifically in digital ad copy
