The Manor at Blue Water Bay is a 120-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in the beautiful resort area of Bluewater Bay, Niceville, FL. We are always seeking compassionate, qualified individuals to join our growing team! Responsibilities * Prepares therapeutic desserts and salads as required * Serves meals in the health center pantries * Sets up tables in the health center dining room(s) and breaks them down after the meals * Transports hot and cold foods to and from the health center pantries * Transports all required non-food items to and from the health center pantries * Washes silver, glass, china in dish machines in pantries as per regulation * Provides health center snacks and supplements per diet orders * Maintains stock and sanitation levels in coffee and juice machines in dining rooms * Sets tables and maintains work stations in proper order * Takes order, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously * Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service * Answers pertinent questions about menu items * Ensures that orders match Physician’s diet orders Qualifications * Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, perform simple arithmetic, and understand measurements and conversions * Previous experience in nursing home food service preferred, but not required * Ability to plan, organize and set up trays and plates in accordance with diet orders and interpret specifications and standards * Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor and peers.
