Rêve Diamonds is growing. we are looking for a showroom manager for our 3rd US showroom in Beverly Hills Los Angeles.
Rêve Diamonds is a London & NYC based bespoke diamond jewelry company . In our workshops we craft large diamond engagement rings, wedding rings, eternity rings, diamond pendants & necklaces, tennis bracelets and diamond earrings. We offer our designs at affordable prices and we ship them worldwide.
We are looking for an experience diamond jewelry professional for the rule of Showroom Manager at our LA showroom
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
To be the Rêve Diamonds Ambassador, to build and lead the team to great performances in the short and long-term in terms of turnover, profitability, development of client database and the image of Rêve Diamonds.
What you’ll be doing...
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of the products & the brand and convey this with pride & enthusiasm to customers
- Responding to customers via e-mail, phone, LiveChat to ascertain and advise on their requirements.
- Meeting customers for face-to-face consultations in our new Magnificent Mile Chicago showroom or via zoom call from the showroom
- Assisting customers through our bespoke design service
- Preparing and sending quotations for bespoke jewelry
- Helping with the selection of diamonds and gemstones to fulfil client orders
- Communicating with our CAD and workshop team about specific customer requests
- Following up with customers after their purchase for after-care issues and to request reviews
- Maintaining excellent presentation of the jewelry and showroom
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Reach own sales objectives and ensure that the showroom reaches its sales objectives.
- The two key concepts are to add new prospects and clients to the database as well as upgrade and enrich the existing members of the database.
- Use the CRM system on a daily basis to enter clients and prospects, create selling opportunities and fulfil client-related tasks.
- Lead the efforts of the team to acquire new clients, not only by converting the by appointment clients, but also by following a tactic of client acquisition outside the showroom.
- Ensure that the database of the boutique is used by all team members and that it is maintained and enriched in views of future CRM activities
MANAGEMENT
- The showroom Manager is in charge of the showroom team
- Comments on the business. Give weekly objectives to the teams.
- Share feedback of the team.
- Foster team spirit.
- Coach for all its team and is responsible for the following areas:
- Recruitment of new staff
- Bi-annual evaluation of the team members.
- Assessment of the training development of the team.
- Organizes the team’s planning and make sure the showroom is up-to-date for all administrative duties.
- Examines the strategies of competitors and the competitive position of the company in the market and examine opportunities for the brand.
- Represents the company at meetings, functions, clubs, networking events, fundraising, conferences and seminars and make contacts with other organizations.
- Availability and Flexibility outside regular store hours is needed.
- All demanded financial and analytical reports need to be accurate and on time.
SALES & SERVICE
- Ensures that any visitor to the showroom is treated with the utmost respect and professionalism according to Rêve Diamonds showroom charter.
- Assures a flawless after sales service.
- Responsible for perfect up keeping of the showroom at all times.
What we’re looking for...
- A passion for fine jewelry/ diamonds/ gemstones
- A proven track record of meeting & exceeding sales targets while providing an excellent level of customer service.
- A Gemmological qualification is preferred (though not required)
- Luxury diamond Jewelry retail sales experience
- Ability to quickly build trust and rapport with clients and wider team members
- Commitment to driving client loyalty through exceptional customer service standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Visual merchandising flare
- Customer focused, able to handle customer complaints and queries in a highly professional manner
- Confident, resilient, determined and enthusiastic
- Strong administration skills with good attention to detail and accuracy
- Capable multi-tasker with ability to prioritise workload according to business needs
- Ability to think on your feet work under pressure and to deadlines
- Computer literate and competent, able to adapt to new tech.
- Able to work as part of a team but also to work under own initiative
- Working knowledge of Google Docs

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Ability to travel locally, some occasional national travel may be required
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of retail or luxury retail store management experience or relevant customer related experience
- Proven track record in sales generation, managing the achievement of sales results.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including days, evenings and Saturdays
- Proven ability to develop new opportunities and maintain client relationships while ensuring brand recognition and penetration in market.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, Power Point, Client tracking systems and Point of Sales (POS) system.
- Flexibility to work in various roles based on business needs (i.e., on the sales floor, operations, etc.).
- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A college/university degree
- Graduate gemologist degree or previous Gemological Institute of America (GIA) course work is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
