Duties

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Document patient treatment plans and progress in Dentrix software.
• Assist in orthodontic procedures and provide support in pediatric dentistry when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive care.

Experience

• Registered Dental Hygienist currently licensed in the USA.
• Must have graduated from an ADA/CODA accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Eligible for full licensure in a Canadian province.
• Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
• Experience in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as effective communication with diverse patient populations is essential.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
