Job Description

Role Summary  

The Content & Media Strategy Specialist is responsible for developing multimedia content that drives awareness, engagement, and internal culture at Buffalo Rehab Group. This role plays a key part in bringing BRG’s story to life by highlighting patient success, clinic excellence, team culture, and strategic initiatives through compelling video, photography, and social media. 

This position blends hands-on production with narrative storytelling, supporting both internal and external campaigns. It also offers opportunities to grow into strategic marketing planning, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration with teams across the organization. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

Media Production & Storytelling  

  • Lead the creation of high-quality commercial videos that highlight BRG’s services, clinics, and brand identity. 
  • Produce patient testimonial videos, showcasing outcomes and personal stories that resonate with our community. 
  • Capture and edit internal training videos that support team development and clinical excellence. 
  • Build content that supports team culture and internal communication across locations. 

Social Media & Awareness  

  • Create and manage engaging social media content that reflects BRG’s brand voice and mission. 
  • Capture, edit, and publish content that supports ongoing campaigns, new initiatives, and clinic exposure. 
  • Document and share behind-the-scenes footage from events, community outreach, and BRG-wide activities. 

Internal & Community Engagement  

  • Support initiatives that foster internal connection and build team culture across locations. 
  • Assist with photo and video coverage for events, milestones, and community partnerships. 
  • Collaborate with People & Culture and Clinical Leads to tell stories that connect departments and inspire growth. 

 

Collaboration  

This role is part of the Marketing Department, which collaborates closely with People & Culture, Clinical Leadership, and Operations. The Content & Media Strategy Specialist will work directly with the Director of Marketing and the Marketing & Brand Experience Specialist to ensure content aligns with BRG’s mission and visual identity.

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, media production, or related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 2–4 years of experience in content creation, video production, or social media management preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or comparable software. 
  • Experience working across social platforms (Meta, YouTube, Google) and managing content calendars. 
  • Bonus: photography, motion graphics, or healthcare marketing experience. 

 

Work Environment  

  • This position is based on-site in Buffalo, NY , with travel to BRG clinics and community events across Western New York. 
  • Occasional evening and weekend availability may be required for event coverage or campaign production. 
  • Company-provided equipment (camera gear, editing laptop, etc.) will be supplied. 

 

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Compensation & Benefits  

  • Salary: $50,000 annually plus monthly bonus structure
