Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Climbing Arborist to join our team in Springfield, MO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tree care, exceptional climbing skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. This role involves performing tree pruning, removal, and maintenance services for residential and commercial clients.

Responsibilities

Perform tree climbing, pruning, and removal using industry-standard techniques and equipment
Conduct tree health assessments and recommend appropriate treatments
Operate and maintain chainsaws, chippers, and other arborist tools
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols
Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Assist with storm damage response and emergency tree services

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of professional climbing arborist experience
Proficiency in safe tree climbing and rigging techniques
Knowledge of tree species, diseases, and proper pruning practices
Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
ISA Certified Arborist credential is a plus
Strong physical fitness and ability to work at heights
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in various weather conditions
