About West Midtown Medical Group

West Midtown Medical Group, located in mid-town Manhattan, is a Joint Commission-accredited diagnostic and treatment center providing addiction treatment and full-service primary medical care in an out-patient setting. We provide comprehensive, patient-centered addiction treatment services using medication assisted therapy (methadone, buprenorphine, vivitrol) in conjunction with individual and group counseling.

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and dedicated CASAC or CASAC-T to join our experienced team of medical, nursing, and counseling professionals.

Responsibilities

• maintain professional therapeutic relationship with assigned patient caseload,
• assess patients and complete comprehensive psychosocial evaluations,
• work with patients to develop patient-centered treatment plans,
• conduct individual counseling sessions,
• facilitate weekly group therapy sessions,
• make appropriate referrals for services as necessary,
• timely and properly complete documentation in accordance with OASAS regulations.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred),
• CASAC or CASAC-T (must be in full effect, "pending" not accepted),
• two years’ experience,
• excellent written and interpersonal communication skills,
• ability to work efficiently as part of an integrated team in a fast-paced environment,
• sensitivity to the complex needs of patients in treatment for substance use disorder,
• bi-lingual (English-Spanish) preferred,
• Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:00 pm.

• $8,000 retention bonus ($4,000 after 6 months, $4,000 after 1 year)
• Automatic salary increase for counselors with Associate's Degree who obtain Bachelor's Degree.
• Automatic salary increase for counselors with CASAC-T who obtain CASAC.

Salary Range

$54,787.00 - $68,099.00 per year
