Position Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for building and maintaining strong referral relationships that support the growth of Personic Health in their assigned market. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the BDM serves as the face of Personic to physicians, facilities, and other referral relationships. Success is measured by referral volume, conversion, and the strength of provider and client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with referral sources, including physicians and facilities, generating a regular flow of qualified patient referrals.
  • Conduct regular in-person visits, calls, and in-services to promote Personic’s services.
  • Achieve referral and conversion targets to meet company growth goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring timely resolution of questions or issues.
  • Educate referral sources on Personic’s services, policies, and available technology.
  • Collaborate with regional leadership on market strategies and opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of activity and referral data in company systems.
  • Adhere to compliance standards and maintain knowledge of applicable healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in home heath, healthcare business development, physician relations, or healthcare client services.
  • Proven success in building referral networks and achieving growth targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM or tracking tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (healthcare or business field preferred).
  • Candidate MUST reside in Suffolk County, NY
