Seiren – Mediterranean Conservas Bar | New York, NY
Seiren is a Mediterranean-inspired conservas bar focused on thoughtfully sourced seafood, refined small plates, and a beverage program rooted in classic technique with modern expression. We are looking for skilled, hospitality-driven bartenders to join our opening team.
What We’re Looking For
Experienced bartenders with strong fundamentals and attention to detail
Comfort working in a high-touch, guest-forward environment
Knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits (Mediterranean and aperitif-forward experience is a plus)
Ability to execute drinks with consistency, speed, and care
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Professional, polished demeanor aligned with a refined but approachable concept
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to Seiren standards
Engage guests with warmth and confidence, guiding them through the menu when needed
Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and mise en place throughout service
Follow all NYC health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
Assist with opening and closing duties, inventory, and prep as needed
Work closely with management and the floor team to deliver seamless service
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a quality-driven restaurant or bar
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
NYC Food Handler Certificate and valid alcohol service compliance (or willingness to obtain)
