Job Description

We’re looking for a Backend Engineer for one of client, who can take ownership of critical systems and data infrastructure powering a next-generation digital platform in the healthcare and wellness domain. You’ll help shape the backbone of a high-growth startup environment designing, building, and scaling core services that deliver exceptional user experiences across web and mobile products.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead the design, development, and scaling of core backend services using TypeScript and Python .
• Architect performant, secure, and reliable systems to support rapid business growth.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Frontend teams to deliver seamless, data-driven user experiences.
• Build systems that leverage machine learning and AI-assisted capabilities to enhance functionality and customer insights.
• Drive best practices for performance tuning, observability, and CI/CD automation.
• Mentor engineers, influence technical direction, and foster a strong engineering culture.
• Develop and optimize backend pipelines for real-time processing, analytics, and integrations.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience with deep expertise in TypeScript and Python .
• Proven success building and scaling high-performance distributed systems .
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps pipelines , ESLint , bash scripting , and Unix/Linux environments .
• Hands-on experience integrating AI or ML-driven systems into production environments.
• Ability to balance big-picture architecture with detail-oriented coding practices.
• Excellent communicator and collaborator in cross-functional environments.

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with WebSockets , real-time data streaming , or compiled languages (Rust, Go, C++) .
• Prior exposure to healthtech , digital wellness , or regulated environments .
