Salary is 80k to 90k

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator who has progressively specialized in Microsoft Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in traditional system administration (Windows Server, networking, user access, etc.) and has shifted their focus toward cloud-based infrastructure, Azure services, and modern identity and security practices.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and support hybrid on-premises and Azure-based systems
• Manage Azure resources including VMs, storage, virtual networks, and identity services (Azure AD)
• Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation using tools like PowerShell, ARM templates, or Bicep
• Monitor and optimize cloud workloads for performance, security, and cost
• Support user access, permissions, and security controls using Azure AD and related tools
• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute migrations and upgrades to Azure services
• Troubleshoot system and application issues in cloud and hybrid environments

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Systems Administrator or similar IT infrastructure role
• Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Strong understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS, and networking fundamentals
• Experience with identity and access management, especially Azure Active Directory
• Familiarity with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell)
• Understanding of hybrid infrastructure and cloud migration strategies
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-900, or equivalent) are a plus
