About the job

The General Affairs Analyst is a member of the General Affairs & Facility Department in MOBIS Corporate Center America (MCCA) and is responsible for supporting the following work scope and coordinating and communicating with all U.S. MOBIS Entities General Affairs Organization. This includes Company Insurances (property, product liability, company vehicle, etc.) and Utility Contracts Review, Analysis, General Affairs Regulations, Policies and Procedures, Employee Benefits (e.g. vehicle lease program), Coordinating with internal/external stakeholders, vendors, state/local authorities etc. Plants Operation Support (e.g. domestic and international business travel, expatriate assistance, vending and food services, company owned cell phones, janitorial services, administrative supplies and company sponsored internal and external events.)

  • Research and analyze General Affairs Regulations, Policies and Procedures for all MOBIS entities in the U.S. for integration and standardization. Draft a plan to revise current policies or create new policies if needed.
  • Support the company-sponsored Vehicle Lease Program, analyzing the expectations and benefits of the program for all participants, while providing timely updates on program changes.
  • Coordinate with various service contractors, receive employee feedback, and pro-actively resolve internal customer complaints.
  • Gather data and draft yearly business plans for the General Affairs organization.
  • Understand and evaluate on-going internal customer needs and feedback.
  • Review and draft an annual communication plan; Report past, present, and upcoming news/information and oversee the development of a quarterly newsletter.
  • Communicate and cooperate with South Korea Headquarters Organizations when needed.
  • Communicate, develop relationships with Hyundai Motor Group Affiliates and State/Local Authorities.
  • Support various company sponsored internal and external events such as the annual Mobis Family Day, Employee Award, and VIP visits.
  • Support domestic and international business travel tasks and assists expatriates with initial on-boarding process and other transitional needs.
  • Gather data and draft an annual departmental budget, analyze monthly spending and ensure compliance with budget constraints.
  • Support and manage departmental office fixture/supply procurement, inventory and invoice payments.
  • Support departmental company cell phone program including device orders, service management and invoice payments.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in manufacturing operations or similar industry
  • Supervisory experience is not required but desirable

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Must be able to perform tasks and complete goals and objectives in timely manner
  • Must be able to work independently using own professional discretion
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Overtime, weekend work as needed.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Experience in Business Administration or Business Support Group
  • Departmental support operations, budgeting and planning experience
