POSITION: GNC Aerospace Engineer (Guidance, Navigation & Control)

LOCATION: Chandler, AZ 85286

DURATION: 1-Year Contract Plus Extensions (FTE Conversion Eligible)

PAY RANGE: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour W2

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• 2-3+ years of experience in guidance, navigation and control systems (GNC) for aerospace and missile guidance related projects.
• Strong knowledge of guidance principles and systems, including missile guidance algorithms, navigation, target tracking and flight test programs.
• Experience with Autopilot.
• 6Dof simulation experience.
• Ability to read C++ and knowledge of modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Python.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

PLUSSES (Not Required):

• Experience in Hypersonic programs.
• Strong knowledge of Infrared Discrimination (IR) and Tracking.
• Experience with linear quadratic estimation (Kalman Filtering).
• Experience with predictive intercept points (PIP) algorithms.

SUMMARY & OVERVIEW:

Insight Global is seeking an Aerospace GN&C Engineer in Chandler, AZ. Our client provides innovative solutions for national security, commercial aerospace, and space exploration. As an Engineer in the Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) team, you will be responsible for designing and developing guidance algorithms, simulations, modeling and systems for missile guidance related projects. You will work closely with and mentor other GNC engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that the guidance systems meet performance specifications.

Compensation:

$60.00/hr - $80.00/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
