Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: San Ramon, CA (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $25 - $28 per hour
Employment Type: 3-6 Month Contract | Possible Temp-to-Hire
Our client, a well-established organization in San Ramon, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to support their accounting team. This role will focus on billing, collections, and cash applications to ensure timely and accurate processing of receivables. Experience with Yardi software is highly preferred .
Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and distribute invoices accurately and on schedule.
Post and apply customer payments to the appropriate accounts.
Reconcile customer accounts and research discrepancies.
Follow up on outstanding balances and manage collections activity professionally.
Maintain detailed and organized AR records and documentation.
Support month-end close processes and AR reporting.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments to resolve billing issues.
2+ years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience.
Yardi software experience highly preferred.
Strong understanding of invoicing, cash applications, and collections processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Competitive hourly pay: $25-$28/hr (depending on experience).
